SBA Taps SBDC Expert for

Small Business Video Series

The U.S. Small Business Administration and Dell recently launched an online video series offering tools and strategies to help small business owners rebound from the economic recession and put themselves in a position to expand and create jobs.

For expert advice and insight, the SBA sought the assistance of  Lester "Casey" Willson, retail industry and sustainability programs manager for the Maryland network.  With over thirty years of knowledge and experience, Willson was able to address a broad range of considerations the business owner--in any industry--should consider before expanding. Willson, and the staff of the SBDC see the challenges firsthand. "Those of us with direct interaction with local businesses," says Willson, "are better equipped to assist in crafting viable solutions."

The series includes eight videos which seek to answer questions such as:  how can I build my team, market my products, contract with the federal government or prepare for disaster?

"Any owner viewing these videos should contact their local SBDC for specific recommendations for their particular industry," says Willson.
